I took a quick look at her profile and it seems she has had enough inquiries into her specifically not-for-sale-GKs that she’s had to add a (very politely worded) request that no one ask over them. I can certainly ask her instead (or as well), but I thought it could be helpful to be specified here, near where this offer was initially posted.
I prefer Lilith to Morrigan, as well (though I’ve already mentioned my favorite from the series, earlier…). There’s something about the juxtaposition of a ‘wholesome succubus’ that I just find endlessly amusing. My interpretation of the face on the prototype of this Morrigan was of her dropping by unannounced, you know- as she does, yet promising to be on her best behavior nonetheless- possibly with an added wink, depending upon the leanings of the internal narrator at a given tellings time (haha). That said, I’d very much like a series of those three (+ Felicia) in which I’d be satisfied with each final offering enough to put forth the not insignificant resources to acquire them all. And if that never happens, I’ll be all the richer* for it(!). *by which I of course mean: less poor by putting fewer resources into these enthralling though unnecessary** items. **by which I’m only referring to the ones I already own, as in: it’s now no longer necessary to for me to find and buy them!
The main experience I’ve had with GK seeking would be finally finding item/309705 on Y!J, albeit from an already finished auction, for (if I’m recalling this correctly) over the equivalent of $700 USD. Possibly well over; I’m actually intentionally under-shooting, as I believe it went for quite a bit higher- even with the paint chipped off in multiple places. Based on that price and what you’ve just educated me on of your personal experience, it seems plausible that it had been an original painted by said GK’s creator.
Even for unrelated items I’ve found myself in bidding wars to the point where I’ve had to give in to that gentle, if persistent, inner voice, repeatedly telling me to, “Let them have it.”
